Teacher Kyle M. Hite Arrested for Fondling Student’s Breast in Class

kyle_hite.jpgIn Arizona, Klye M. Hite, 25, a math teacher at Mesa Westwood High School was arrested for fondling a student’s breast numerous times in class without her consent because, according to the police report:

“He thought the victim found him attractive.”

Oh please.

At first, the young woman thought Hite’s hand brushed her breast accidentally. When it happened again, she knew it was intentional and complained to Hite. It didn’t work and he continued to touch her nearly every day after that.

Ewwwwwww. What a slime ball.

    As a teacher I always cringe when seeing articles like this. I certainly hope that the general public doesn’t perceive this as the general type of teacher out there.

    Ken - I believe most people think that the vast majority of teachers are wonderful people. However, like in any industry, there are always bad apples. As parents we need to encourage our children to speak out and report these folks - and believe them when they do.

    Also, that’s why as a parent, I support the “good touch-bad touch” programs we have in our school district. Giving the kids the training they need to identify abuse is important.

    This guy is a disgrace. As a mother, I am among the majority that believes that most teachers get into this field to create better adults. This guy is just a disgrace to any profession, let alone one that deals with children on a daily basis.
