Coach Stuart Mahler May Be Charged with Roughing Up Members of Wrestling Team

marianna_high_school_logo.jpgIn Marianna, Florida, Marianna High School wrestling coach and teacher, Stuart Mahler, may be charged with two counts of child abuse. The sherrif’s office received complaints via the Department of Children and Families abuse hotline. Mahler, who taught physical education and driver’s education, was accused of threatening and causing injury to some students.

The sherrif’s office investigated and found that one of the wrestlers received a black eye and another student was forced to wear a plastic bag while exercising in order to lose weight.

Mahler resigned his teaching job in March, and paperwork charging Mahler wirth two counts of child abuse was filed the state attorney’s office.

Hey Mahler, you’re supposed to be supportive teacher and coach, not Bobby Knight. Grow up.

    are you aware that all charges against Mr. Mahler were never proved and seemed to be the story of a disgruntaled parent, who by the way child was expelled from Marianna high school for being drunk on the school bus.
