Assistant Principal Leonard Marsh Caught Growing Marijuana
Just say no, Mr. Leonard!
Assistant principal, Leonard Marsh, 50, was arrested along with his wife Jinny S. Marsh, 56, on charges of growing pot with intent to sell. He was formally charged with manufacturing marijuana and his wife was charged with possession for the weed growing operation in their home in Virginia.
They were growing it in their closet according to police. Packaged marijuana was also found in the home they share with their teenage daughter.
The irony was that just last week the school held a “Just Say No” to drugs campaign. Parents say that Marsh was one of the lead voices warning kids to stay away from drugs. (Do as I say, not as I do - eh?) Now they are just shocked, saddened and disappointed that something like this could happen at their school.
Marsh is on administrative leave from his job at Cub Run Elementary School. His photo has been taken off the school website as well.
The school sent a letter home to parents that stated there is no reason to believe anyone else in the school was involved with Marsh.
And get this. Jinny Marsh is a cantor at Temple Beth Torah, which means she probably teaches kids having their bar and bat mitzvahs. Two educators behaving badly! How nice.
