Assistant Principal Cleavon Eason Arrested for Sodomy and Sexual Assault

cleavon_eason.jpgIn Huntsville, Alabama, Lee High School assistant principal Cleavon Eason, 36, was arrested and charged with with sodomy in the first degree and sexual assault in the first degree.

All is known currently is that the victim, a 16-year-old male student at the high school, brought forth the allegations. Investigations questioned Eason after the boy’s parents filed a complaint with police. After questioning, investigators immediately arrested Eason.

Officials from the Huntsville City Schools system put the assistant principal on administrative leave as soon as the allegations were made.

Police are also questioning other Lee High School students and looking into other cases where Eason may have had inappropriate contact with students. Anyone with information pertaining to this case should contact Investigator Chet Williams at 722-7100.

Eason was a graduate of Lee High School. He worked at the school for 12 years as an aide, a special education teacher, and an assistant principal. The community is in shock about the arrest since he was well liked and had a good repoire with students.
